It is with a heavy heart that I must say that, in 2022, Martin and I lost our precious Hera. It was tragic and sudden, and we're still heartbroken. We miss her terribly, but she will always have a place in our hearts. I created a Memorial Video which was posted to Instagram.

In 2023, we welcomed Rhea to our household. She's a bundle of energy and keeping us on our toes, and we love her for that.

I grew up in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., and lived there for over fifteen years. I moved to New York City in 2004, where I live with my husband, Martin, in Greenwich Village in Manhattan. I've lived entirely on the East Coast in places from DC to Boston.

I did my undergraduate work at MIT, but it was so long ago, what I did there is mostly irrelevant.

I currently work for Goldman Sachs - an investment bank headquartered in out of New York City. I am a software developer currently developing tools for the Finance Department.

I had a mini-blog related to food and wine, where I documented some of the food I'd prepared and the pairings I chose. It kind of expired, but one day I might recreate it.

In 2016, I participated in Cycle for the Cause - the Northeast AIDS Ride a wonderful experience raising money for an amazing cause. I documented my progress and collected up some of my photos from the event. 2016 also saw the first year of my New New Year's Resolutions where I thought to better myself by resolving to try one cocktail every week.

In 2017, I officially left Facebook, but I'm on Goodreads, Instagram, and Bluesky. Feel free to locate me there. Also this year, was an unofficial bread making endeavor – mostly undocumented, but still tasty.

2018 was the 365 Days of Hera which led her to instagram fame – if you can count 100 followers as fame.

For 2019 I decided to Let them Eat Cake! which was Cake-of-the-Month club by me for me.

We all know what happened in 2020, 2021, and 2022 which fizzled my attempts at resolutions each year.

I have starting doing woodworking now that I have plenty of space to work. Take a look at this year's project.
